London Alternative Market

We hope to see you this Sunday at London Alternative Market. We will have a stall with a selection of our corsets, clothing, lingerie and accessories - all with lovely discounts from our regular prices too.

Chilli Studio Day

We had a lovely day at Chilli Studios in Bristol yesterday - thanks to everyone who came along, showed support, played dress up and bought some beautiful things at bargain prices!

Nikki even managed to convince Gemma, the studio owner, to play dress up in some of our stock (and Gemma couldnt resist treating herself to one of our gorgeous long Limb corsetted coats) 

A fun evening was had by all who attended, especially the studio's resident Teddy Bear! We'd have loved to have taken him home with us, but we think Gemma may have noticed! ;-)

All in all, it was a successful evening and we're already planning the next one. We'll be back in Bristol in January, but this time we plan to make it bigger and better - hopefully offering mini makeovers and photoshoots for those who want to play dress up and get some lovely photos. We'll still have the same huge discounts off our stock (up to 70% off some pieces, and at least 10% off everything!), free gifts and we may introduce some prizes and fun too.

Any feedback from yesterday's event, or ideas for the next one are always welcome.

Nikita Sablier - Festival of Sins - London - Saturday 11th December 2010

We've also decided to set up a small stall at next month's Festival of Sins : Sloth event at the Den & Centro in London.

All items will be available at a discounted rate to our in store prices (10%-75% off!) and although we wont have our full selection of stock, we will have some of our corsets, plus plenty of smaller accessories and things that you can take away on the night, including nipple tassels, mini top hats, compact mirrors and much more!

Payment will be by cash only at this event.

Nikita Sablier - Bristol - Sunday 14th November 2010!

Nikita Sablier will be at Chilli Studios this Sunday 14th November 2010.

From 3.30pm we'll be there to offer our help and advice, plus we'll be bringing plenty of dresses, corsets & lingerie for you to try. All stock will be available at a discount (at least 10%, but up to 75% off original in store prices!) so why not come and grab yourself a bargain!

We'll also be bringing some new lines that aren't even on our website yet, together with some close out bargains which may be your last chance to buy.

Nikki will be on hand with her tape measure, to take orders for made-to-measure corsets, which can be made in time for Christmas, if ordered at this event.

 

We'll also be bringing lots of lovely accessories with prices from just £1, so there's something to suit all budgets! Perfect gifts for Christmas including scarves, compact mirrors, keyrings, handbags, our 2011 calendar etc...

Wonderful Working Women Meeting

I decided to attend one of ReeRee Rockette's Wonderful Working Women's meetings at the weekend and am so glad I did!

I made so many new contacts - from designers, to writers, to stylists and more! I've also starting following them all on Twitter!

I'll definately be at the next one and recommend it to any ladies who already have, or are thinking of starting their own business. It's great to have someone to talk to about things, partly so you don't make the same mistakes as others, but also just to know you're not the only one trying to make things work in the current economic climate.

My favourite thing about the meeting was the relaxed atmosphere - it didn't feel like a "business meeting", it was much more of a group of friends who just hadn't met before and the networking aspect was fabulous. I'm sure I'll be working with some of the ladies that were there when I re-open the new shop for various reasons.
