We've dress up one of our windows in pink (and it seems to get pinker by the day!) and staff will be dressed in pink too.

Nikita Sablier are also donating 25% of any sales of pink items in store on that date to the charity too.

Plus we've hand made some pink ribbons in various sizes, colours and styles which will be available to purchase for a suggested £2 donation.

Best of all, you'll be able to choose your favourite ribbon from our wonderful display model, Cheryl Elizabeth! Cheryl is travelling up to spend the day with us and will be available from midday in our pink window display wearing just pink lingerie and a multitude of ribbons!!

Every £2 you donate, also gets you an entry into our Pink Prize Draw where we have been donated some super prizes - including nipple tassels, lingerie by Stockings & Romance, a top from Miss Fortune Clothing, and a corset from PrivateZone Corsetry. We'll be selecting the winners at 5pm on Friday!

Well, I picked up the keys to my new boutique in Salisbury this morning and it's all very exciting! Shop fittings start tomorrow and we're aiming for a Grand Opening of Saturday 16th July 2011 so watch this space as more details and sneak peaks unfold!

Chilli Studio Day

We had a lovely day at Chilli Studios in Bristol yesterday - thanks to everyone who came along, showed support, played dress up and bought some beautiful things at bargain prices!

Nikki even managed to convince Gemma, the studio owner, to play dress up in some of our stock (and Gemma couldnt resist treating herself to one of our gorgeous long Limb corsetted coats)

A fun evening was had by all who attended, especially the studio's resident Teddy Bear! We'd have loved to have taken him home with us, but we think Gemma may have noticed! ;-)

All in all, it was a successful evening and we're already planning the next one. We'll be back in Bristol in January, but this time we plan to make it bigger and better - hopefully offering mini makeovers and photoshoots for those who want to play dress up and get some lovely photos. We'll still have the same huge discounts off our stock (up to 70% off some pieces, and at least 10% off everything!), free gifts and we may introduce some prizes and fun too.

Any feedback from yesterday's event, or ideas for the next one are always welcome.

Wonderful Working Women Meeting

I decided to attend one of ReeRee Rockette's Wonderful Working Women's meetings at the weekend and am so glad I did!

I made so many new contacts - from designers, to writers, to stylists and more! I've also starting following them all on Twitter!

I'll definately be at the next one and recommend it to any ladies who already have, or are thinking of starting their own business. It's great to have someone to talk to about things, partly so you don't make the same mistakes as others, but also just to know you're not the only one trying to make things work in the current economic climate.

My favourite thing about the meeting was the relaxed atmosphere - it didn't feel like a "business meeting", it was much more of a group of friends who just hadn't met before and the networking aspect was fabulous. I'm sure I'll be working with some of the ladies that were there when I re-open the new shop for various reasons.

Festival of Sins Flyers!

We had great fun shooting promotional material for Festival of Sins last month! Nikita Sablier were among the designers and boutiques chosen to dress the beautiful models for each of the seven deadly sins! Photography was by the talented Adam Robertson of Team Binkertson and the Studio was provided by Technical Boy.
The models included Madame Bink, Anita De Bauch, Ella DeVine, Roswell Ivory, Boykitten, Dee Bee, Easy Tiger, Noam Zabari and I hope I haven't forgotten anyone but tell me if I have and will add a link!

Festival of Sins are moving their night to a bigger and better club in October so it was only right they re-vamped the promo posters and flyers to promote things!

I'll blog each new sin leaflet as it's released when featuring Nikita Sablier!

The Qype Business Council will consist of a group of 10 business owners. They will have their business in different industries and will have had different experiences in using Qype and will get involved in any current development projects, give feedback on current products & services, give suggestions on what they would like to see on the site, etc…Any new features, any new gadgets & other funky mobile stuff that Qype choose to develop will have the full involvement of the Business Council!

Nikita Sablier - leaving Kingly Court

Walking away from something you know isn't an easy thing to do. You know how things work, what makes a place tick. but sometimes you have to walk away, taking with you only the knowledge that the next thing will be even better then the last. Saying goodbye to Kingly Court wasn't easy, my first shop will always hold many fond memories. But saying goodbye and walking away is exactly what I have chosen to do. I shut up shop last week, I am no longer there.

We will be back though in a shiny new space to show off all the fabulous designs I stock. When we re-open Freyagushi will be selling one of their lines (the ever popular hello kitty designs) exclusively through my shop!! It's all very exciting really. It's just a matter of finding that perfect spot, a place that not only suits our needs but some where that feels right.

There will be a grand opening too of course, definately an event we can all look forward to. I'll keep you all posted of course but for now I point you in the direction of my website and look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

I must get the hang of blogging more often!

Last night's Creatives Networking Night went really well- a great opportunity for models, photographers, performers and stylists to get together and mingle! (with drinks a flowing and discounts in store of course!)

Congratulations to model Shiggi for winning our "door prize" of a Littlearth Handbag worth £109.00! :-)

Date of next one to follow shortly but likely to be early December so watch out for it and pop it in the diary - would be great to see new faces at the next one!

Undercover at the Fashion and Textiles Museum

It explores a number of themes such as boudoir to everyday glamour – ‘Stars and their bras’ looking at celebrity branding; research and innovation’s impact on the types of underwear we wear; and how the changing face of underwear advertising and marketing meshes with social and cultural changes. "

We were also lucky enough to dress some of the performers for the evening :

Miss Khandie Khisses performed a fabulous burlesque routine in our polkadot underbust corset:

Holly Walker performed in our Mary Poppins Corset and Fur Trimmed Corset Coat! (She also had a nipple tassel stuck to her face, we're not entirely sure why.!)

The gorgeous Miss Baby Sol performed in a leopard print Bettie Page Dress and flower corsage :

There were some fantastic dancers in our Freyagushi Military corsets :

All in all and exhausting but fabulous evening!

What a fabulous day - I had a visit from Kylie Minogue in store today - she was beautiful, down to earth and simply amazing!! I was lost for words for once!!

She bought a black mini top hat by Fabulous Fascinators , a pair of hotpants from our Bettie Page Clothing Collection (well, she IS Kylie Minogue - hotpants would be the obvious purchase!) and Five Satin Eyemasks by Bombay Duck (gifts for friends!)

I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for appearances on stage in the hat or hotpants! I hope she gets "papped" carrying my bag out the shop too!

So exciting!
